Bags > Alchemy
The alchemy Chalkbag was born during the competition climbing
boom of the mid nineties. It was intended to be a stripped down version of our classic Verve made with only one purpose in mind – to insure the hand could be chalked as quickly and fully as possible. To this end, we changed the proportions of the bag by expanding the width of its opening relative to its depth and got rid of the zippered back pocket to cut down on weight. There are countless times I would have fallen during a hard redpoint or onsight had not my Alchemy saved me from seconds lost fumbling for chalk or struggling to free my hand from a collapsed bag.
